Greetings!  Tomorrow we have a full day of school ending with a fun sing-along in the Gym at 2:30!

Homework: Read 20-30 minutes, spelling activities are due, reading logs are due, and we will have a spelling test. We will have a small holiday celebration prior to the sing-along.

Good Afternoon!

Homework for tonight: Read 20-30 minutes (with a reading response), spelling activities, practice multiplication facts, cursive practice.

3rd graders need to turn in the Science Project Idea Slip as soon as possible.  Due Friday!

Please note: We will have a small “Holiday Celebration” on Friday, Dec. 22nd right before the Sing Along at 2:30.  Ms. Dabajeh (Mohamed’s mom) has graciously offered to provide us with healthy snacks (fruits and vegetables).  Thank you Ms. Dabajeh!

The Concert is tonight!  Bring your child to room 7 at 6 pm.  We get on stage at 6:15.  Your child may wear festive clothes.

Tomorrow is a late start.  School begins at 9:35.

Homework: Read 20-30 minutes and work on spelling activities.

Please don’t forget to turn in permission slips and money for the January 19th field trip!  Due tomorrow!!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!  We have a full week of school this week ending in our Holiday Sing Along on Friday!

Tomorrow we have Gym and Library.  Please make sure your child brings their gym shoes and library books to school…we will also visit the Science Lab, where the 5th grade students will talk about their Alien Projects.

Our spelling words this week will be holiday words:

Santa Claus, North Pole, sleigh, reindeer, gifts, elves, Rudolph, jingle bells, Christmas tree, Frosty, hot chocolate, snow, holly, jolly, gingerbread.

Tuesday we will have a rescheduled Holiday Concert.  Students will report to room 7 at 6 pm.  We go on stage at 6:15.

Good Afternoon!

Thank you if you already sent in your child’s field trip permission slip and money.  If you did not, please remember that it is due on Tuesday, December 19th!

Homework: Read 20-30 minutes each night this weekend.  Many children are not keeping up with their Reading Logs.  This is mandated and will be reflected on their report card!  Please make sure your child is reading and logging it each night!  All Reading Logs are due on Friday!  Your child should also be MEMORIZING their multiplication facts!  Make sure they are studying them each and every night!

Save the date:  The Holiday Concert has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 19th from 6-7.

As most of you already know, all after school activities have been cancelled tonight.  The concert will be moved to next week…the exact day will be determined by the end of the week.  Stay tuned!

Good afternoon families of students grades 3-5,
This year your child will be required to do a science experiment.  Requirements will be sent home this evening.  Please have your child search/brainstorm ideas that may interest him/her.  The “Science Fair Project Getting Started” Idea Slip is due back to your child’s classroom teacher before the winter break.
