I hope everyone enjoyed that 60 degree weather we had today!  Its great to air out the house with the windows open!!

This week’s spelling words focus on ending diagraphs: ch, th, sh, tch.

each, which, match, dish, with, path, hitch, patch, wish, teeth.

Tomorrow we will have Writing Enrichment and will check out books.  Please remind your child to bring their library books back tomorrow!

We will also be starting a new contest tomorrow! If your child reads 20-30 minutes the night before as noted on their reading log, they will get a checkmark to place in their Leadership Binder.  At the end of the week, any student who has read 20-30 minutes for 5 days straight and has noted it on their Reading Log will receive a prize!  We will be competing with the other 2nd grade classes for overall number of minutes read!
