Good Afternoon!

Homework: Read 20-30 minutes (with a written response), work on spelling activities and practice multiplication facts.

I have noticed that several of the children in our class are NOT writing in their Response Journal after they read each night.  Please make sure that after your child reads, he or she writes a summary or facts that they have learned through their reading.  Some children may have printed comprehension questions to answer.  This is part of their homework and if they are not completing it, it will be reflected on their report card.  I am hoping for your support.  We are trying to teach responsibility as well as working on comprehension.

Tomorrow we have Art.
