Hello Kinder Parents!
I am Mrs. Casados, your child’s Kindergarten Teacher! I am super excited for this school year and look forward to building a lasting relationship with you and your child!
This year may be unusual and unconventional but we will work through it and make the very best of it!
I want to share a few things about me!
- This will be my 10th year teaching, 4th year in Dearborn. I absolutely love teaching and love the Nowlin Family. Easily one of the best decisions I have ever made.
- I am from Ohio…so go Buckeyes, CAVS, Browns, and Indians!
- However..I am a HUGE Red Wings Fan!
- I graduated from Eastern Michigan University where I earned my bachelor’s of science in elementary education, specializing in social studies and early childhood education.
- I am a Sigma Kappa Alum.
- I earned my Master’s of Science in Education at Newman University in English Speakers of Other Languages (this is in Kansas).
- I lived and taught in Kansas for 6 years (and I am aware I am not in Kansas anymore
) - I am married, his name is Christian, and you might see him from time to time helping out in our classroom, having lunch, or hanging out at a school event with me.
- We have an angel baby in heaven. I love talking about him, so feel free to ask. (I will not mention this to the kids, so please don’t worry, I know it can be a weird and hard topic).
- We just had our rainbow baby, Maverick, in June. He has been our blessing and I can’t wait to show pictures of him!
- We have two dogs: Zoey a Yorkie, and Zeus, a Chihuahua-Min Pin mix.
- I love corny jokes, crossword puzzles, and coffee <3
I cannot wait to learn everything I can about your kids!
