Thank you to everyone who signed up and sent in items for our cooking program. We used every item that came in! Yes, it was a busy, but fun day! We started with bagels, cream cheese and apples in the morning, then had Lemon Chicken and Greek Salad in the afternoon. The students will be coming home full today! The students did all of the set up, food prep, measuring and clean up. Every student had a part. This year, each student will be bringing home a cookbook, filled with the recipes we will make throughout the year, along with their personal review of the recipe. Today was so much fun I am excited to continue!

The students are coming home with two notes in their folder. The first note is bright yellow and has details regarding our first CBI trip on Tuesday. The second note explains what to do if your son/daughter has to come in late on a Monday or Tuesday, as those are both days we are out of the building.
