Hello families! There is a lot happening this week and next so I wanted to get this out a little early this week.

Job Sites and CBI: Students have been assigned a job site for the first semester and will be bringing home this information today. Please be sure to sign and send back with your student by Friday. If your student did not bring a slip home, they are scheduled to attend a job and life skills class here at Hype, and to be honest, I forgot to make a separate slip for them. I will send one home tomorrow so that there is no confusion.

Please remember, students who are scheduled to attend Modern Greek/Paradise Point do not need to bring a lunch on their scheduled days. Please have students wear their Modern Greek Uniform to school on Monday, September 23rd. If this is their first time working at Modern Greek, they will receive their t-shirt this year.

Since there is only one of me now, there will be different policies in place when a student arrives late on a job site or cbi day. I will send this home for you to keep as a reference, as it is too much to place on the blog and too much to remember by the time it actually happens.

Cooking on Friday: This Friday our classroom breakfast program will start up again. We will be starting with bagels and cream cheese, and apples. Students may wish to bring something extra to drink for the morning. Additionally, we will be making Lemon Chicken and Greek Salad. Students will receive about a half portion each, so they will still need a lunch that day, even if it is a lighter lunch. And as always, to end a busy day, students are able to bring a snack for Fun Friday. It’s going to be a busy day!
