The Fountas & Pinnell Leveled Literacy Intervention is a powerful, short-term intervention, that provides daily, intensive, small-group instruction, which supplements classroom literacy teaching. LLI turns struggling readers into successful readers with engaging leveled books and fast-paced, systematically designed lessons. Through the use of this literacy program, Early Childhood Specialists and classroom teachers within Dearborn Public Schools can work together to accelerate the reading process to ensure that every kindergarten student reaches grade level proficiency.
Students will work with the ECS and classroom teacher on a daily basis, double and sometimes triple-dipping, in literacy to ensure that children are receiving as much intervention as possible.
