Hi Everyone!!!
Welcome back to another week (a short week) of our remote learning!!!
Once again, I would like to commend all of you for the outstanding job you are doing overseeing your children’s daily work!!! What great partnerships!!!! I appreciate all that you are doing, have done and continue to do!!!! A+ π
Some hopefully quick explanations of this week’s work:
Hive 108 Tidbits:
ABC Countdown: J, K, L, M (see calendar for activities)
Spelling: Compound words
Reading: 2 Readworks articles (one fiction and one non-fiction) and an Epic non-fiction story.
Writing: Think about all the information you’ve learned about the past—you’ve just stepped back in time. What would it be like living back in the past (mid 1800’s to early 1900’s)? Would you like it? Why , why not? Chores, clothing, transportation, home, food, games, etc…. Use your opinions and details. I can’t wait to read your choice and why!
Math: We are going to make a slight jump and begin Module 8.
Social Studies: Conclude our history unit
Science: Mystery Science
Just a reminder that there is not school this Friday or next Monday—-an extended weekend for Memorial Day.
As always, if there are any questions, PLEASE don’t hesitate to ask!!!!
Stay safe and positive!!!!
Fondly,
Mrs. Burke π
A few of our friends certainly did, along with their smiles!!!!!! π
Thank you sharing your pictures, James and Noor!!!! π
If you want to send me a picture of you in your hat, I will post your pictures on our blog. See you all on Tuesday—Letter K—Knock, Knock jokes. I sure miss everyone!!!! π
See if you recognize some of the buildings in our neighborhood. Have they changed over time?
It’s certainly springtime at Noor’s house. π
Were you lucky to see the Blue Angels fly overhead, yesterday?
Kylie was!!! Did you recognize her? π
Enjoy this wonderful Wednesday weather!!!!!!!! π π

According to the Detroit Free Press and other social media, The Blue Angels should be flying over Dearborn around 11:30. Keep your eyes to the sky!!!
