Hello Parents!
March has arrived and so that means March is Reading Month is here!!!! Every family should have received a copy of The Chocolate Touch on Friday to read at home. Just like last year, every other day a question will be asked in school and if answered correctly by your child, he/she will have a chance to win a prize. Also, keep tally of the number of minutes your child is reading at home each night—a school wide contest begins—I will pass out reading logs to the children this week. Please continue to read, read, and read!!!!
Now for our Hive plans:
Spelling: (hard and soft c/g) Our words are: city, cents, came, cell, camp, page, wagon, gym, center, and gone. Bonus words are: gift, century, and citizen. Our sentence is: The little girl had a huge wagon filled with gifts for good citizens.

Writer’s Workshop: We’re finishing sharing Our Tooth Stories in class and then they will be showcased in the hall. Some really memorable tooth experiences were written. Then onto Opinion Writing.
