Feb. 4th – Feb. 8th

Hi Parents!

Looks like we may be back on schedule with a 5 day school week.  Yeah!!!!  We’re going to follow last week’s plans, including last week’s spelling list which will be in your child’s planner.

A mid module math review will come home on Tuesday and we will have the assessment on Wednesday.

Speaking of Wednesday, that is our 100th  day of school.   In celebration of those 100 days,  I would like to ask that each child bring in 100 pieces of a little snack (pieces of their favorite cereal, mini pretzels, mini marshmallows, etc….) in a baggie on Wednesday.  We will combine all treats and then serve our 100’s mixture as  an afternoon snack.

Mrs. Ferrell will be setting up a Sign-Up Genius for our Valentine’s Day Party on Wednesday, February 13th (we have a half day on Thursday) at 2:45.  Our plan is to have the children make ice cream sundaes.  Children wanting to pass out valentines may do so on Wednesday.  Please have your child sign only their name and not address their cards to specific classmates.  This makes for easier delivery:)  Thank you in advance for your donations.

Late Start Wednesday.

We are continuing to collect Box Tops through February 22nd, so don’t hesitate to send them in!

Have a great week!!!!

Fondly,

Mrs. Burke
