I hope all families had a wonderful extended weekend!
Our class is scheduled to participate in Field Day this afternoon. Please consider applying sunscreen before sending your children to school and maybe sending more in so it can be reapplied at school before we head over to Summer Stephen’s Park.
Friday: Wear red, white and blue
Our Hive Schedule for the remaining school days:
Spelling: We may try to squeeze in a class spelling bee reviewing all our 2nd grade spelling lists.
Reading: Reading and acting out short plays with homemade puppets
Math: Measurement and counting money
Science: Plants
Reminder for our upcoming picnic and pool day—-If you have graciously volunteered to drive, PLEASE be sure that your paper work is completed before this event. It gets quite busy in the office on the day of our picnic. I did send home notes in your child’s planners if you had expired paper work. Many thanks!!!
