Wednesday, May 22nd— Our Spring Concert at 6:00—Hope to see you there!
Friday, May 24th and Monday, May 27th—No School
Friday, May 31st—Ice Cream Social—-Fun times to be had by all! Traditionally my class has donated a gift card plant for this highly anticipated event. I provide a large flowering plant and I’ve asked the families of my students to donate a gift card to place in the plant. If you would like to partake in this donation, please send in your graciously donated card by Thursday, May 30th. Gift cards $5-???? are all accepted! Thank you, thank you in advance.
Monday, June 3rd, Tuesday, June 4th and Wednesday, June 4th —No School
Thursday, June 6th—Field Day (afternoon) Parent volunteers needed
Tuesday, June 11th–Picnic and Pool Outing–Drivers needed
Now for our hive’s schedule.
Spelling: (months of the year) January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December. Our sentence is: There are twelve months in a year. While practicing, be sure to emphasize using a capital letter at the beginning of each month.
Reading: Gathering details to improve comprehension
Writing: Letter writing—-Thank you notes to all vendors and donators that assisted with our veterans’ project.
Math: Begin Module 7 and we will also continue to work on Module 8.
Science: Ecosystems

Permission slips for Field Day and Picnic/Pool ($5) need to be returned as soon as possible.
