Hello Parents!
Thank you to all our parents that attended our Parent/Teacher conferences this past Thursday. I will be meeting with the remaining families tomorrow.
Our Hive Plans:
Spelling: (beginning patterns: ch, sh, th, wh) Our words: chill, sheep, think, what, chest, shape, thing, while, chase, and white. Our bonus words are: chapter, those and whisper. Our silly question is: What white shape could whisper while the sheep chased a fly?
Reading: One more week of non-fiction and then back to fiction. We will remain working on main idea, details that support the main idea and summaries.
Math: Our Module 3 assessment is scheduled for Wednesday or Thursday. Please check your child’s planner.
Writing: Sharing our informational piece on Dearborn and then onto a narrative piece of writing.
Science: Earth’s surface/changes

Tidbits:
Thursday, November 21st: Ford Rouge Plant field trip. An advance thank you to all parent drivers/chaperones. We will be departing from school as close to 9:00 as possible. Please be sure to pack a lunch for your child. We may not be back to school in time for our regular lunch period and may have to eat in our classroom upon our return to school.
