Welcome Back, Parents!
I hope all our families enjoyed the extra days off for our Thanksgiving Break!
This week’s plans:
Spelling: (ch, sh, th, and wh patterns) Our spelling words are: chase, chest, chill, sheep, shape, think, thing, while, what, and white. Our bonus words are: whisper, chapter, those. Our question is: What white shape could whisper while the sheep chased a fly?
Reading: Back to fiction
Writer’s Workshop: Brainstorming for our narrative pieces of writing and begin our story boards.
Math: Completion of Module 3—our assessment will be at the end of the week.
Social Studies: Map skills/adding pages to our folders
Tidbits:
*All parent drivers for our field trip—-The office needs a copy of your current insurance and driver’s licence. PLEASE be sure to do that by this Wednesday!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
*Scholastic book orders are due this Tuesday
*Please be sure to label all your children’s winter gear with their name or initials. Temps fluctuate, so please be sure your child has his/her gloves/mittens and hats everyday. Recess can be quite cold if your child is not dressed appropriately.
