Fourth graders are learning about energy waves. They use different materials including a rope to simulate the movement of waves.

The fifth graders are engineering space landers. They have to make a lander that can drop from 2ft and keep the aliens (marshmallows) inside.

Kindergarteners are using objects to push and pull stones across the paper.

The fifth graders engineering challenge is to make the tallest snowman using 2 sheets of paper. Here are a few of the snowmen.

The third graders are also making very creative trees during their engineering challenge this week.

The second graders are having fun this week with an engineering challenge. They have to build a free standing tree with the materials given to them. There are some very creative trees!

First graders made telephones using string and cups. They learned sound travels through the string but only if it is straight.

Kindergarteners are learning about forces- push and pulls. This week they are testing how far the car travels based on how much force is applied to it.

Third graders are learning about light and shadows. They had fun making hand shadows.
