The third graders made hopper poppers that jumped when force was applied.

The second graders are learning about the properties of matter. We made hats that would protect them from the sun using only lunch materials.

The first graders are learning about light. This week they used a light source to make shadows.

The third graders are learning about balanced and unbalanced forces. They used a ball and ruler to test for balanced or unbalanced forces.

The Kinders are learning about force. They used big and little pushes to test the truck and see how far it moved.

The fourth graders are learning how nature creates landforms. This week they used a stream table to see what happens when water (rain) is poured on a surface.

Second graders are continuing to work with solids. They used the same materials as when they built the towers but they had to build a bridge that could hold weight. Here are 2 examples.

Fourth graders had to build the tallest snowman in the class.

Fifth graders had to make a snowball thrower (catapult) that could hit a target.
