Forth and fifth graders came and helped the kinders learn about what things sink and what items float.

Lego heart challenge

The first graders learned that shadows move as the sun moves. They had to make the statue’s shadow move and match the picture.

The kindergartners had to prevent the rock from knocking down the houses. They were problem solving and had to try different ideas to get it to work.

The kindergartners are using keva planks to create tall structures. They had to work together and try different ways to build to create a large structure.

The first graders are learning about light and shadows. They made shadows with their hand or puppets.
