LANG ARTS ~ We will continue to analyze text & plot elements. We are reading “The School Play” & will continue to define & label the plot / using graphic organizers. The reading log for this card marking is due on Tuesday, November 10th! Please sign & check in each day.
MATH ~ We will begin work on surface area & volume. Chapter 12 on the Glencoe Math Text site will aid in any questions or background info necessary.

All students have logged in to Khan Academy & may practice math skills that need improvement (see NWEA RIT scores in their daily planners).

We will continue to work on area & “decomposing” geometric figures.
Students will also do “SLOT” work & review fractions. Homework today is #1-6 fraction worksheet!

Please make sure kids are reading daily, the reading log is due Thursday or Friday this week, Oct 15 or 16.

The draft is due on Monday, we will write the final copy in class.
