MISSING OR LATE WORK ~ Please see me if you have any missing or late work by Wed or Thurs this week.

Please remember that in Middle School we use the Grading Scale A, B, C, D, E (where A is the highest).

In Elementary School they may have used 1-4 or E, M, P, C (where E was the highest).

** Library books are due for return / renewal – check out on Friday, October 4th.

Please note that the end of the first card marking is Friday, October 11th.  If there is any missing or make up work to be done, please see me by October 9th.  Report cards for the 1st marking will be handed out at Parent Conferences at the end of the month.

Please remember to turn in you Daily Reading Log on Monday, September 30th.  New logs will be handed out at that time.

We are working on comparing & contrasting two stories from our textbook, p.384 – p. 390.  The writing is due Thursday or Friday this week.

Make sure your daily reading is a “good fit” book for your level!

Progress reports will come out the 3rd week of each marking period.  The current marking period will end on Friday, October 11 th.  Please make sure any missing assignments in Parent Connect are turned in or made up before that date.  This week:  Personal Narratives are due.

Remember to read 15 – 20 minutes per day & have your family sign off on your reading log!!  Reading logs are due on *** MONDAY ***  September 30th *****

Personal Narratives are due Thursday, September 19.  Students have time to finish them in class today.  If they need more time, they may finish at home tonight.
