7th grade summer learning is due tomorrow, 6th grade on Tuesday. No extensions will be made. The project was gone over extensively in class last week and at the end of June. Project rubrics were sent home and put on the blog, as well as an example of what to do.
If you did not do the project and you were at Salina last year, you will have a zero. Please take your teachers seriously when work is assigned.
This is an example of the CER portion of the Summer Learning Theme Project. Don’t forget that you also must complete a SEPARATE creative portion of the project. Please review the rubric that you will receive with your report card. Don’t forget: this is worth 150 summative points, no excuses.
If you were absent today, please watch the rest of Where the Red Fern Grows on Youtube and be prepared to take your summative assessment on Monday. You may use your notes from the movie and the book.
Tests for both The Giver and Where the Red Fern Grows are on Wednesday, May 22.
The study guide for the Greek and Latin Final will be given out on Wednesday and posted on this blog. The Greek and Latin final for ALL classes will be on Friday, May 31.
You’ve made it through M-Step, congratulations!!! We’re down to the last 20 school days, but now is not the time to quit.
Greek and Latin roots pick back up again this week. I will post the study guide for the final two weeks before. The date for the Greek and Latin final is TBD as soon as I find out the final schedule for NWEA and various field trips.
Please keep up on assignments The Giver and WTRFG as well as for your reading groups.
