I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. This week, we start mandatory class meetings, so please make sure that you are on time. Here is the Zoom schedule for this week for my class. Remember, Synchronous times are the mornings when you meet with teachers. Afternoons are always Asynchronous, which means you either work on your own, in a small group with a teacher, or in Learning Labs later.
I know this can be a little confusing right now, but we’ll get used to it, no worries!

Next week, we’ll be following the schedule you received with A/B days and times.
Good Morning! Make sure that you go to Schoology to complete today’s assignment. You will not be able to comment on the assignment, write your answer on a Google Doc and submit it. If I am not “seeing” you online every day during school time, you are marked absent.
Don’t forget, tomorrow you need to get your class supplies. It’s a drive through from 9:30-11:30. 6th grade is in front of the school, 7th grade is behind the school by the Community Center. If you won’t be able to get there, let the office know as soon as possible.
I have a discussion question that you need to respond to today and your first week assignment is there. Click here to get to the Student Portal: https://dearbornschools.org/student-portal/
Your log-in to Schoology is the same as your regular log-in.
Baby Yoda has nothing to do with Schoology, but I love him.
Welcome back to school!!! Whether you are new to my class or if I was your teacher last year, school is looking a LOT different right now.
We don’t know when we’ll be back in the building, but we all need to do our best to make sure that we keep moving on with our learning.
If you have not already, you need to log into Schoology and check out what you have to do this week. One of those things is to work on your summer Project. Scroll down on this blog to find those details. I will tell you this…
There is no due date yet. We will talk more about that later so don’t stress. However, if you haven’t even started your project yet, you should get going. Now would be good.
I will be available online for your questions this week from 8-11. Don’t forget that we are off Friday through Monday. On Tuesday, we will begin using our schedule to have live classes.
See you all soon!
