Theft

It’s a shame that someone in first or second hour felt the need to steal Halloween candy, which was a gift from a student, from my desk, probably the same person who decided to take my personal ruler from the desk as well. The ruler was recovered, but my trust is not. If you are really that desperate for candy, asking would have been the honorable way to go instead of becoming a thief. I’m really disappointed and this makes me think twice about a lot of things. It’s just candy, but the fact that it was stolen makes me incredibly sad for that person.

No one should be touching anything on my desk without permission, ever. If you are the one who took the things, you can still do the honorable thing by coming forward and admitting it.

Integrity: How you behave when no one is looking. Do you have it?

Things to think about on a Friday afternoon.
