4th grade students looked at a sculpture I brought in by artist Zeny Fuentes from Oaxaca, Mexico. Students drew an animal they liked and outlined their drawing with glue. I attached foil to their cardboard, and students rubbed over their glue lines with a Q-tip. They used Sharpies to add color. Thank you to Megh Callie’s Art Blog from Pinterest for the inspiration!
