Third grade students looked at cupcake paintings by artist Wayne Thiebaud.  Students made a cupcake wrapper using texture rubbings and created the frosting by mixing a tint. A tint is what you get when you mix white with a color.  Students used model magic to add decorations to their cupcakes.
