Math:  Students will partition circles and rectangles into two, three, or four equal shares, describe the shares using the words halves, thirds, half of, a third of, etc., and describe the whole as two halves, three thirds, four fourths. Science: Students will learn about plants and insects.  We will be investigating and discussing butterflies, mealworms/beetles, silkworm moths and brassica plants.  Students will be drawing, writing, comparing and contrasting  the life cycles of  insects and plants.

Social Studies:  Students will learn about resources to help us understand  about the past. They will be looking at our community today and how it looked in the past.  We will see how  native americans have changed from the past and how they are the same.
