In reading, we are working on testing student levels. Students will be
able to describe the overall structure of a story, including describing how the beginning introduces the story and the ending concludes the action.
In writing students will be able to write narratives in which they
recount a well‐elaborated event or short sequence of events, include details to describe actions, thoughts, and feelings, use temporal words
to signal event order, and provide a sense of closure.
In math, students will be able to read and write numbers to 1000 using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form. They will be able to count within 1000; skip-count by 5s, 10s, and 100s
In science, Students are investigating sand, pebbles and silt.
In social studies, Students are learning about families, communities, and needs and wants.
