Content Objective
Students will demonstrate knowledge of types of waves by comparing mechanical waves and electromagnetic waves an comparing transverse waves, longitudinal waves, and surface waves.

P.EN.07.31 Identify examples of waves, including sound waves and waves on water.
P.EN.07.32 Describe how waves are produced by vibrations in matter.

Language Objective
Students will write about types of waves and by using their reading notes (and the text book if necessary) to complete a questions at the end of section 1.

HOMEWORK – Finish questions 1-9 on page 9.

NOTE – If students are interested in retaking the Matter Test, the need to discuss this with Mr. Bloye immediately.  Students will only be aloud to retake tests if the have all of their work turned in.
