Content Objective
Students will demonstrate knowledge of watersheds and which ones we live in by completing a diagram while using a video clip, teacher explanation, and their text book.
E.ES.07.11 Demonstrate, using a model or drawing, the relationship between the warming by the sun of the Earth and the water cycle as it applies to the atmosphere and oceans.
E.ES.07.81 Explain the water cycle and describe how evaporation, transpiration, condensation, cloud formation, precipitation, infiltration, surface runoff, ground water, and absorption occur within the cycle.
E.ES.07.82 Analyze the flow of water between the components of a watershed, including surface features (lakes, streams, rivers, wetlands) and groundwater.
Language Objective
Students will write and draw to describe the parts of the watershed and which ones we live in by completing a map with a key.
TODAY – The students took a quiz on Fronts, Watersheds and Global Climate Change. They then began working on a reflection Google Document that can be found on the iLearn site.
HOMEWORK – Study for Weather Exam (next week)
