Students will demonstrate knowledge of how genes carry information from generation to generation and become familiar with related vocabulary by reading “Do You Like Your Genes?”, individually and with their groups.

Language Objective
Students will write and discuss how genes carry information from generation to generation by annotating and discussing parts of an article “Do You Like Your Genes?”, then presenting their section to the class.

Exit Ticket – Write three sentences to explain three things that you learned from the article.

HOMEWORK – Study for Fridays Test.  A study guide is available on the iLearn site and a copy will be distributed in class tomorrow.
