Jan 21st Clothing donations

Do you have any old clothes that you would like to donate to our enrichment class? The students are doing great with folding shirts and we would like to move onto other items.

Dec 10th Enrichment

The students are doing an amazing job folding shirts. I would love to start with pants, shorts, long sleeve shirts, pairing socks, folding towels, sheets and hanging clothes after the break. If you have any old clothes laying around the house that you would like to donate we would be very appreciative.

Please be sure to ask your children to help you with the laundry!

Dec 6th Start of Card Marking 3!

Monday kicks off card marking 3! This means a fresh start. Please encourage students to keep their grades up as it is much easier than trying to pull them up once the fall.

2 more weeks until winter vacation!

Nov 29th Enrichment

This Wednesday we will be making hot dogs and French fries. I like to repeat cooking lessons so the students can master the skill. Please talk with your child and see if anything they have learned to cook at school they could make at home.

The last day of card marking 2 is Tuesday. Please remind your child to turn in any missing work by Tuesday in order for it to count.

Nov 15th Enrichment

Cooking with your child is a great opportunity to teach many skills including time, temperature, measurement, fractions, multi step directions, reading for information, and much more. We have been focused on breakfast foods. We have made cinnamon rolls, pancakes, french toast, and apple juice from a frozen can.

Friday we finished our 3 readings about peer pressure. This week we will be working on a writing piece.
