Good Afternoon All,

I hope that you are all staying healthy and safe! I just added the assignment for this week. Not sure why, but there seems to be some technical difficulties in assigning work ahead of time as we saw with the last 2 weeks of work and again this week.

I am finishing up grades for last week and will update the gradebook and send out emails shortly.

REMINDER: If you submit an assignment late, email me so I know that you submitted it and then I can go in and grade it.

Good Morning Everyone! I hope that you are all staying healthy and safe!

This weeks assignments will follow the same schedule as before having our first assignment due on Thursday night and the second one due on Sunday night. Please ensure that your child is pacing themselves to ensure that they are meeting due dates.

I will be grading last weeks assignments today and will email out any missing assignments as I did last week by the end of the day. If your child submits a late assignment, please have them email me so I know to go into google classroom and check their work and update their grades. However, if your child is unable to meet any deadlines, please reach out to me and we can look at alternate options available.

Due to district directive, I have had to cancel my google meet for the time being but my office hours will be available on Wednesday from 8:30-10:30. I will, however, continue to respond to emails as I receive them.

Good Morning Everyone! I hope that you are all staying safe and healthy!

Some students/parents may have received an email from me yesterday evening, as our first assignment grade was entered into parent/student connect. Please check grades and ensure that your students have completed this assignment and if submitted late, please send me an email so I know to go in and check it and update their grades.

This weeks assignments will follow the same schedule as before. I will post the first assignment on Monday and it will be due on Thursday night. Then the second assignment will follow on Friday morning being due on Sunday Night. Please make sure that students are pacing themselves to ensure that they are meeting the deadlines. If they are unable to do so for whatever reason, please reach out to me and we can schedule an extension as needed depending on the circumstances.

I have also posted meeting times/office hours in which I will be available through google meet to chec-in with students and answer any questions they may have. Please check the schedule to see when your class will be meeting. Links for meetings will be posted in google classroom just before the meeting times. As always, I am also available through email and will do my best to respond as soon as I see the notification!

Good Morning Everyone!

I have started grading the assignments that were turned in for this week! Let me start by saying, I have loved reading through the reflections and have made a couple notes about questions to answer during our google meet (Link will be shared 5 minutes prior to meet in google classroom). For those that have not completed this work, please make sure that it is completed and turned in on time so that you don’t lose any points on this assignment. This will go into the gradebook and should be reflected tomorrow. You will also have another assignment tomorrow so please make sure that you are not falling behind. As always, please email me any questions or concerns and I hope to see/talk to you later today.

Good Morning Families,

I hope that you are all staying well! I miss seeing all your smiling faces everyday!

The assignment for this week will be posted shortly in google classroom. This week is a review week for Earth’s Layers. Students will be working on the review questions and a science world magazine article throughout the week ensuring that it is turned in by Thursday night. There will be a follow-up assignment/quiz that will be posted on Friday and that will be due on Sunday night.

I will be setting up our first google hangout/meet on Thursday at 2 pm and will post the link to join the meeting shortly beforehand in google classroom.

Good Morning Families! Hope we are continuing to stay healthy and safe!

This was a busy weekend with grading of late submissions of assignments and report cards being completed. That being said, I will send out the weekly assignment for the week tomorrow and it will be due Friday 4/3/2020! Due to the fact that this is the last week before spring break, I will not be posting an assignment this Friday.
