Today in class the 8th graders worked on solving for the discriminant to determine solutions. Classwork is called, “Soil Erosion”, in GC and IXL A.BB.11 was started in class. No homework unless you missed classwork because of band/strings rehearsal.
Today in class the 6th graders worked on a new slideshow to calculate tax and tip, “My Dining Experience” which will be due Thursday. We will work on this in class tomorrow as well. This is not homework.
The last day to complete any missing IXL for Math and Language Arts will be Sunday, June 11 by midnight!

Today in class the 8th graders practiced using the quadratic formula in IXL A.BB.10. You must show work to get credit. Stop at 65% or 10 questions. Tomorrow is the final exam!
Today in class the 6th graders took the common assessment. IXL is 6.V.7 and 6.CC.8 to 95%.
SCIENCE FAIR BOARDS ARE DUE TOMORROW!
Today in class the 8th graders practiced factoring special case quadratics. This can be completed at home if necessary. The final exam will be this Thursday and Friday from 8:20-9:30 am.
Today in class the 6th graders wrote a CER to compare real-world ratios. Today’s IXL is 6.V.6. The common assessment on ratios, rates, and proportions will be tomorrow!
Today in class the 8th graders did a writing assignment in class and began their Study Guide Pt.4. Homework is to finish the study guide for the final.
Today in class the 6th graders used equations to solve rate problems. You can finish “Rate Problem Solving with Equations” (in google classroom) at home.
Today in class the 8th graders used calculators to find zeros. Today’s IXL is A.I.8 on literal equations. We began this in class today.
Today in class the 6th graders found original prices when there is a discount in “Original Prices Bookwork”. Today’s IXL is 6.V5.
ALL students need to make sure their science fair data, both quantitative and qualitative, are submitted in google classroom ASAP if you would like feedback before the final project is due!
