6th grade-no homework

8th grade- Homework is IXL AA5 and AB2. They are in google classroom.

Today in class we began working in our Interactive Notebooks. We focused on policies and procedures for math class.

No Homework!!!!

Today in class the 8th graders received their Algebra 1 Textbook to KEEP AT HOME or in a locker.

The 6th graders will not receive a textbook because I pull their book assignments from multiple locations.

I will continue to post all assignments in Google Classroom for 6th and 8th grade.

Students worked with a partner and then completed a Partner Evaluation Form in GC. This will help us develop class norms and rules for behavior tomorrow.

Today in class we continued our presentations. 2nd hour read an article of the week that you may complete at home if necessary. Otherwise, there is no homework.

Today, students did their presentations. There is no homework.

Today was the band and strings field trip. Today’s assignments, bellwork and article of the week, are all in google classroom.

IXL are due by midnight on Sunday!

Today in class the 8th graders continued their presentations. Please make sure you are done with yesterday’s IXL A.V.8 and A.X.2.

Today in class the 6th graders analyzed data to calculate measures of center and variability in, “Average Number of Siblings”.  Tonight’s IXL is 6.BB.7 on graphing functions.

Today in class the 8th graders took their last quiz. Today’s IXL are A.X.2 and A.V.8.

Today in class the 6th graders created statistical displays on the worksheet, “Labrador Retriever Puppies”, and have IXL 6.BB.9 and 6.CC.4.

Today in class the 8th graders presented their comic strips. Tomorrow is your quiz on the quadratic formula, factoring, and using the discriminant.

Today in class the 6th graders worked on their dining slide show. This is due Friday!
