Thursday, Jan. 25

Today in class the 8th graders checked all three scatter plot assignments for this week.  We worked on, “Pledging Money for a Walk-a-Thon”, to graph and compare multiple linear functions. The IXL for today is A.KK.10 on correlation coefficient.

Today in class the 6th graders checked all three equations assignments for this week. We worked on “Inequalities Practice” in class (on google classroom) and began IXL 6.AA.4 on inequalities.

Any late IXL may be emailed to me until Friday at 3PM.

Tomorrow is a half day. Dismissal is 11:05am.

Wednesday, Jan 24

Today in class the 8th graders practiced using the TiNspire to calculate regression and correlation coefficient in “Math 10A”. We will check all three scatter plot assignments tomorrow. The IXL for today are A.KK.8 and A.S.18 to review for the final.

Today in class the 6th graders solved and graphed solutions to word problem equations in, “One Step Equation Applications”. The IXL is 6.AA.3 on inequalities. Please make sure you completed yesterday’s IXL!

Tuesday, Jan. 23

Today in class the 8th graders worked in pairs to complete “Scatter Plot Applications”. The IXL for today is A.Q.11 on reading graphs. We will check all graphing calculator work on Thursday so everyone has an opportunity to complete it in class.
