Today in class the 8th graders graphed systems of equations. Your only homework is if you didn’t finish the classwork.

Today in class the 6th graders wrote equations to match real-world word problems. You may finish this at home if you need.

Today in class the 8th graders graphed linear systems. Homework is to complete IXL 8. Z.2 about solutions to linear functions. Your midterm will be on Feb 7th at 8:30am.

Today in class the 6th graders worked on a study guide for the next common assessment. Today’s IXL is 7.T.1 on solutions to inequalities. We will check yesterday’s pennants and today’s study guide tomorrow in class.

The end of the marking period is Friday, Jan. 27.

All Late work is due by Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 3:00 pm.

All IXL emails are due by midnight on Friday, Jan. 27.

All work assigned this week will go on the next marking period to account for absences.

Today in class the 8th graders checked the study guides for the common assessment. I will post the answer key in GC soon!  Please complete the bookwork, “Literal Equations” at home.

Today in class the 6th graders practiced using the order of operations to simplify expressions. I posted the assignment in GC. Please use the answer key to check your work. Today’s IXL is 6.D.1 to 100%.

Today we took the language test for the NWEA.

The 8th graders practiced using the graphing calculator for the midterm. Your only homework is if you didn’t finish in class. The presentation slideshow that we have been working on all week is due by Monday.  Most people have already turned it in.

The 6th graders learned how to solve equations today. Use your notes to help you analyze the worked examples in google classroom. Finish this at home!

Today was the science NWEA test.

The 6th grade has NO HOMEWORK!

The 8th grade needs to complete the study guide for the midterm pt 2 at home.

I want to say how proud I am of all of our amazing STEM students for their hard work on the NWEA test this week (and it is only Wednesday:). Even after a late start, everyone took the test seriously and focused. The results were phenomenal! Keep up the GREAT work!

The 6th grade classwork assignments are in google classroom, entitled “Lesson 25”, and “Expressions Practice #3&4”. Please complete what you did not finish at home.

Today students took the NWEA reading test. The 8th graders should be completing their slideshow. The 6th graders’ project was due today, please make sure you submitted it in google classroom.

Today in class the 8th graders worked on their project. You should have parts 1-5 done by Tuesday.

Today in class the 6th graders used substitution to determine solutions to equations and inequalities. Part 3 of the project is homework and due TUESDAY!
