Today in class the 8th graders took their midterm exam. I will post grades as soon as I can. Classwork/homework is in GC, “Systems of Linear Inequalities”.

Today in class the 6th graders solved “Advanced Equations”, in GC. You can finish this assignment at home if you didn’t in class.

Today in class the 8th graders practiced writing and graphing linear equations and inequalities to prepare for tomorrow’s mid-term. STUDY!

Today in class the 6th graders finished presenting! Classwork was graphing inequalities with a partner. Today’s IXL is 6.AA.5.

Today in class the 8th graders are writing to explain if correlation implies causation using truth.org. They must support their claim with evidence, and complete the self-evaluation rubric by Monday.

Today in class the 8th graders learned how to graph linear inequalities. Please finish the classwork worksheet, “Graphing Linear Inequalities” at home.

Today in class the 6th graders began presentations and graphed inequalities on a number line. Finish this worksheet at home if necessary.  The common assessment is tomorrow on simplifying variable expressions and the order of operations for non-variable expressions. Use the study guide and answer key I posted in google if you want to study.

Today in class the 8th graders began “Equation of a Line” and it will need to be finished at home.

Today in class we checked our homework from yesterday and began our IXL.

The 8th graders need to complete IXL 8.AA.4 to 90%.

Ther 6th graders need to complete IXL 6.Z.11 to 90%

Today in class the 8th graders used tables to solve systems of equations. In class we worked on  “The Shoe Problem”, in GC. We also reviewed consecutive integers today. Tonight’s IXL is A.S.13.

Today in class the 6th graders are working on their presentations for the product development plan. The slide shows are due Monday!
