Today in class the 8th graders read a picture book to learn about patterns in exponential functions.  Classwork is called, “Recording Studio”, please finish this at home.  Both “Recording Studio” and “Furnace Problem”, are due Thursday.

We will be taking the PSAT all morning tomorrow.

Today in class the 6th graders practiced applying LCM & GCF to real-world problems. Please only complete tonight’s IXL to 65-70%

Today in class the 8th graders compared three linear functions and wrote a CER. This is not due until Thursday. Tonight’s IXL is 8.F.10.

Today in class the 6th graders compared and contrasted equations, inequalities, and expressions. We are still practicing one step inequalities (on the back of the Venn Diagram). Please finish this at home.

Today in class the 8th graders worked together to analyze the break-even point for start-up companies. Homework is to complete the 321 in GC and the IXL A.T.4

Today in class the 6th graders worked on solving real-world LCM and GCF problems. You may finish this at home if needed.

Today in class the 8th graders took their linear inequality quiz. Classwork was to highlight read and solve the problems on the, “Systems of Equations” text. Also complete “Substitution #3”, on scrap paper.

Today in class the 6th grade took part 2 of their quiz. Today’s IXL are 6.U.3 & 6.G.4 (NO CALCULATOR).

Today in class the 8th graders graphed inequalities for linear, quadratic, and absolute value functions. Today’s IXL A.T.3 will prepare you for tomorrow’s quiz on inequalities.

Today in 6th grade we took part 1 of our test. Today’s IXL is 7.I.3.

Today in class the 8th graders learned more about substitution to solve a system of equations. Classwork to be finished at home is called, “Applying Substitution Bookwork”. You have a quiz Thursday on graphing a linear inequality.
