6th graders were assigned 7 volume problems for homework “Gift-Wrapped Decimals”.

6th graders who have not turned in their quilt project must do do by Friday.

7th graders have no homework UNLESS they are behind on IXL.

6th grade: NO HW! Make sure you are caught up on IXL.

7th grade: NO HW UNLESS You did not finish solving your equations in class.

Retakes for 6th and 7th grade will be Friday at 7am and 3 pm, your choice or both.

Homework for the Weekend:

6th grade: IXL Polyhedrons in Google Classroom

7th grade: IXL #9 Inequalities in Google Classroom. Some students will need to finish classwork if they were not focusing. Some students even finished all the IXL in class.

Today in class we read informational text connecting math, science, history, and geography. We used the strategy, “Box & Summarize” to aid in chunking the text to improve comprehension.

The homework each student has depends on what they accomplished in class at their own pace.

6th graders are analyzing text features using a graphic organizer.

7th grade students are analyzing the author’s message and writing a summary at home. A rubric is posted in google classroom, as well as some optional videos to watch .

Today we made a student-created word wall using all of this year’s vocabulary.

There is no homework for 6th graders. 7th graders have IXL#8 due FRIDAY.

Thursday, Nov. 5 @ 7 am

Thursday, Nov 5 @ 3 pm

You must have corrections made and the original test signed.

6th graders had the entire class period to work on their quilt. Some who did not have their drawings complete from last week will have a lot more of the project to finish at home tonight. The quilt and the loose leaf paper (list of coordinates and area work) are DUE WEDNESDAY!

7th graders have no additional homework. Today we reviewed the properties of equality. Make sure you are caught up on IXL!

6th graders have ixl#5.
