Today in class the 8th graders were assigned IXL A.T.3 on graphing linear inequalities. They we checked their study guide from Monday. Classwork was a worksheet called, “Solving Systems of Inequalities”. This is due Tuesday.
3rd hour (6th grade) was Assigned IXL 7.A.5 on GCF. Then they watched two iReady interactives on statistics (mean and box plots). You should not have homework.
Today was the Language Usage NWEA.
8th graders need to make sure A.T.2 and their study guide are done by tomorrow.
6th graders (4th hour only) were assigned IXL 6.Y.1 & 6.Y.2. on expressions vocabulary. Then they watched two iReady interactives on dot plots and line plots. If you were still testing during my class, this is your homework.
7th graders were given time to complete 7.K.4 & 6.Z.10 from yesterday. Then they watched an iReady interactive on rate of change with complex fractions. Then they began the worksheet, “Solve the Equations A”. This is homework!
Today was the math NWEA test.
8th grade did not have class. Please finish A.T.2 and the study guide by Friday.

7th graders were assigned IXL 7.K.4 on proportional graphs. Then they watched an iReady interactive on writing equations for proportional relationships. Then they began IXL 6.Z.10 on solving equations.
Any work I assigned today will go on the next marking period!!!!
Today in class the 8th graders took the reading NWEA. After they finished they were supposed to complete the study guide and IXL from yesterday.
6th grade math only met 4th hour and students were assigned IXL 7.G.5 on GCF. Then they watched an interactive video on making box plots. If you were NWEA testing during my class than this is homework. (3rd hour will do this assignment next week on a half day).
Today in class the 7th graders were assigned 7.K.3 on graphing proportional relationships. Classwork was to watch the video and complete the questions called, “Math Dude.” Also complete yesterday’s Buying Bananas if you did not by 2:15pm tomorrow.
Today in class the 8th graders were assigned IXL A.T.2 on linear inequalities. This is due on Wednesday by 2:15! They also had a chance to work on last week’s IXL 8.AA.10 before I grade it tonight. Then we checked Thursday’s inequality worksheet. Homework is the midterm Study Guide #1A. We will check it on Friday.
Today in class the 6th graders were assigned IXL 6.E.7 on GCF. Then we continued p. 106-109, and 113 in our math books. Classwork/homework is the worksheet, “GCF and Simplifying Fractions.”
Today in class the 7th graders were assigned IXL 7.K.2 for bellwork. Then we worked independently to check our equations assignments. Today’s assignment is called, “Buying Bananas”, in google classroom.
Today the 8th graders had a planetarium assembly. Then they had an hour to complete yesterday’s missing work IXL 8.AA.8 & 8.AA.10 on systems. You should also complete yesterday’s worksheet in linear inequalities.
Today in class the 6th graders were assigned “Baby Yoda Math” for bellwork. Then we introduced factor pairs and greatest common factor in the assignment,”Making Cookies.” Then we completed pages 106-109 in our math books on GCF. You should not have homework!
Today in class the 7th graders were assigned IXL 6.Z.9 from yesterday and 7.K.1 on constant of proportionality. Then students had time to finish and check yesterday’s worksheet on multi step equations. Today’s assignment is called, “Equations Bookwork with Decimals,” in google classroom.

Today in class the 8th graders worked on completing IXL 8.AA.8 & 8.AA.10 on systems of equations. Then we took notes on graphing linear inequalities. You have no homework unless you are super behind on IXL. Since we have an assembly tomorrow, you will have class time to work on these three assignments tomorrow.
Today in class the 6th graders did IXL 6.E. on factor pairs. Then they worked with partners to complete distance, rate and time problems in their Ready CC book. You have no homework.
Today in class the 7th graders were assigned IXL 6.Z.9 on two step equations. Then we took more notes on solving equations. Students received the worksheet, “Multi Step Equations #1”, and can complete in tomorrow in class. Homework is to finish missing IXL.
Today in class the 8th graders had more time to complete IXL A.S.23 & 8.AA.8 from yesterday. Then we continued out notes on elimination. Classwork/homework is to complete the Elimination Bookwork in GC.
Today in class the 6th graders were assigned IXL 5.O.6 on order of operations. Then we worked with a partner to complete p. 362 on Long Division in google classroom on looseleaf paper. Please complete this at home if needed.
Today in class the 7th graders had more time to complete IXL 7.S.5 & 7.R.19 from yesterday. Then we began to take notes on solving multistep equations. Please finish the IXL at home!

Today in class the 8th graders worked on yesterday’s bellwork A.S.23 on point slope form and began today’s IXL 8.AA.8 on substitution. We checked the first part of the study guide for the midterm. Then we took notes on elimination. A.S.23 is now homework!
Today in class the 6th graders were assigned IXL 5.O. on Order of Operations Error Analysis. Then we worked in paris on long division problems in out math book. Please complete the IXL at home!
Today in class the 7th graders worked on yesterday’s bellwork, 7.R.19 on expressions. Today’s bellwork was 7.S.5 on solving equations. Then we finished our notes from yesterday. Homework is to complete the lesson 10 worksheet on proportional relationships. Please complete the IXL at home!
Today in class the 8th graders were assigned IXL A.S.23 on PSF. Then we discussed Friday’s investigation on domain and range. Please complete these two things tonight. We will check the study guide tomorrow.
Today in class the 6th graders were assigned Monkey Math for bellwork. Then we practiced the long division algorithm on a worksheet from our Ready Common Core Book. We will check this tomorrow.
