Today in class the 8th graders worked on a study guide for their upcoming test on exponent rules. Today’s IXL are 8.V.7 and 8.Z.1

Today in class the 6th graders did station to review for their upcoming common assessment. Today’s IXL is 6.AA.4.

Monday, March 6

Today in class the 8th graders graphed a real-world example of exponential growth. Please complete the substitution work that is in google classroom at home tonight.

Today in class the 6th graders used bar models to divide fractions. Tonight’s IXL that we started in class is 6.L.1 and 6.L.5.

Friday, March 3

Today in class the 8th graders wrote an exponential function for bacteria growth. You can finish this at home if you need. Homework is IXL A. Y.5.

Today in class the 6th graders solved equations involving dividing fractions. Please finish your classwork “bookwork” at home.

Math Retakes

Math retakes will be offered for 6th and 8th grade at the following dates/times:

Wednesday, March 8 @ 7:15 am  (green outside door)

Thursday, March 9 @ 3 pm

Today in class the 8th graders compared linear and exponential growth. Homework isd in GC called, “Equivalent Equations,” to solve using substitution.

Today in class the 6th graders learned about consecutive integers and solved equations. Classwork is Two Step Word Problems in GC.  Homework is called, “Premium Staples” in google classroom.
