GREAT JOB TODAY!

I want to say how proud I am of all of our amazing STEM students for their hard work on the NWEA test this week (and it is only Wednesday:). Even after a late start, everyone took the test seriously and focused. The results were phenomenal! Keep up the GREAT work!

Today the students took the NWEA math test.

The 8th grade classwork assignments are in google classroom, entitled “Systems Practice #2”, and IXL 8.F.12

The 6th grade classwork assignments are in google classroom, entitled “Lesson 25”, and “Expressions Practice #3&4”. Please complete what you did not finish at home.

Friday, Jan 13

Today in class the 8th graders worked on their project. You should have parts 1-5 done by Tuesday.

Today in class the 6th graders used substitution to determine solutions to equations and inequalities. Part 3 of the project is homework and due TUESDAY!

Wednesday, Jan 11

Today in class the 8th graders practiced finding regression lines and the correlation coefficient on the calculator. No homework!

*Retakes are tomorrow before school and Friday after school.

Today in class the 6th graders solved real-world problems applying volume and surface area. Today’s IXL is 7.S.1.  Please finish what you need to at home.

Tuesday, Jan 10

Today in class the 8th graders are learning about solutions to systems of equations. Homework is “Systems Practice #1”.

Today in class the 6th graders are learning about solutions of equations and inequalities. Please finish IXL 6.Z.1 and 6.Z.2 at home if you need to!

Monday, Jan 9

Today in class the 8th graders are graphing linear systems. Homework is to finish the classwork, “Analyzing Graphs” worksheet.

Today in class the 6th graders are simplifying expression using the order of operations, exponents, and variables. Homework is to finish the classwork, “Expressions Practice 1&2” if necessary.
