7th grade needs to complete their linear functions book work & statistics IXL at home.

Tuesday, March 22

6th graders are working on unit rates. They have a real-world grocery store poster to complete by FRIDAY!

7th graders reviewed slope from a graph. The only homework is to make sure you are caught up in IXL

Tomorrow is the District Common Assessment for both grades!

Thursday, March 17

6th graders took notes on ration tables today. Their homework is called, “Variables”.

Quiz Friday on division of fractions.

7th graders took notes on vertical and horizontal lines. Their homework is to finish their slide show.

Quiz Friday on slope-intercept form.

Wednesday, March 16

Today I attended the Girls are IT Conference with Ms. Hammoud.

All students had classwork to complete solving equations and no homework.

7th graders have a vocabulary slide show due Friday.

Quizzes Friday:

6th :Dividing Fractions

7th: Finding Slope from a Graph, Finding Slope from Two Ordered Pairs, Finding the Constant of Proportionality, and writing the equation of a line in slope-intercept-form given a graph.

Tuesday, March 15

6th graders took notes in class on independent and dependent variables. Your homework is IXL: Circles.

Quiz Friday on Dividing Fractions!

7th grade began a vocabulary slideshow in class. It is due FRIDAY! We will not be working on this in class after today.

Quiz Friday on Writing Direct Variation Equations to match a graph, table, or word problems. If you do better on this quiz I will drop your last quiz score rather than offering a retake on last weeks quiz.

Friday, March 11

6th grade worked on circumference of circles (7.G.B.4) in class, and writing open sentences to solve division problems with fractions (6.NS.A.1)

6th grade Dividing fractions quiz is next Thursday!No homework unless you are not finished with the Ratio IXL assignment from earlier this week.

 

7th grade worked on comparing direct variations (8.EE.B.6) in class and has NO homework unless you did not finish the circles IXL from earlier this week. DO NOT DO IXL ADVANCED CIRCLES FOR HOMEWORK.
