6th grade has no homework. We completed IXL Equations in class with the exception of a few kids who were tardy or finishing missing assignments.

7th grade has a project due Monday, creating their own story problem in GC. We completed a study guide on 7.G.5 in class for a quiz next week.

Wednesday, Jan 27

6th graders are checking for solutions. Classwork is in GC, “Solutions of an Equation”.  you can finish at home if necessary. No homework!

7th graders are solving for missing sides of similar figures. No homework unless you need to finish up a proportion at home.

Monday, Jan 25

6th graders are working on the distributive property in class. Your homework is to complete the Expressions Paragraph in GC. You can use your interactive notebook or google to help.

7th graders took the common assessment today in class. Your homework is to complete IXL 8.U.9 to 95% by Wednesday (FOR A GRADE).

Thursday, Jan 21

6th graders are writing variable expressions and simplifying variable expressions using integers in class on “Practice 3”. The assignment in google Classroom is called, “Pre-Algebra Practice”. We have a quiz on Order of Operations Tomorrow BUT it is for the next marking period. This way I can offer retakes or give absent students extra time to complete it.

7th graders are working on distance, rate, and time problems. Your homework is to prepare for the common assessment tomorrow.

*Since there is no retake for a common assessment, I will drop the score of anyone who does poorly and keep the score only if it raises your grade.
