6th graders worked in groups today to find area of rectangles using scale factor. Some of them may have one or two problems to complete on today’s classwork, “Fancy House”

QUIZ TOMORROW ON IXL BB.23, area of polygons. There are 10 multiple choice questions on area and students are allowed to use the formulas in their Interactive Notebook.

7th grade worked on integers and have a few problems to finish in google classroom.

Your only homework is to finish the IXL #4 assignment from earlier this week if you have not completed it. It is DUE MONDAY for both 6th and 7th grades.

6th grade: Today in class we found the area and perimeter of compound shapes. Your homework is the same ixl#4 from the last two days if you are not done yet!

7th grade: Today in class we reviewed the four integer operations. Your homework is ixl#4  but it is NOT DUE UNTIL MONDAY. I expect you to complete this assignment at your own pace.

6th graders: Continue working on last night’s ixl assignment. It is due FRIDAY!

7th graders: Homework is in google classroom, entitled “Converting Rational Numbers”. Use loose leaf paper.

In class today we began revisions on our Student-led conferences artifacts. We are typing a final copy of our writing.

6th graders have a new ixl assignment (3 topics) posted in google classroom. It is NOT DUE UNTIL FRIDAY. Do them at your convenience, one per day if you wish.

7th graders have a new ixl assignment (2 objectives, same topic) posted in google classroom entitled, “Estimating Roots” that is DUE WEDNESDAY.

Your only homework is to make sure you are up to date on IXL. You will be receiving more IXL tomorrow.

6th graders have 2 problems for homework: “Practice” and “Distance Challenge”. They are on the back of today’s classwork.

Your only homework is to finish the ixl assignment #3 I have posted all week!

6th graders have a quiz tomorrow on area and they know what worksheet to study! Homework is ixl assignment #3 due Monday.

7th graders have a quiz tomorrow on square roots of perfect squares (1-12). Homework is ixl assignment #3 due monday!

6th grade: Finish your polygon classwork.  IXL #3 is due MONDAY!

7th grade: p. 79 (21-33) & 97 (29-40,47-54).  IXL is due MONDAY!

The RETAKE assignment is only if you need to retake the test. We will schedule a retake individually once your paper is signed by a parent/guardian.

No Homework unless you have missing work to finish!
