New Monday-Friday routine

Hello everyone!

Starting next week, my class schedule will usually be as follows.

Monday– Vocab Monday (words for the week)

Tuesday– Text Tuesday (Read the material)

Wednesday– Write it Wednesday (Notes, Thinking Maps)

Thursday – Team Thursday (Student engagement activities)

Friday – Find out Friday (Summative assessment test/quiz)

Gov’t 1.5 Vocab

Government 1.5 will be going in the middle of this week! Here’s the Vocab! Read, write, speak, and describe them.

42. Interfere: to get involved

43. Century: 100 years

44. Decade: 10 years

45. Millennium: 1000 years

46. Legal documents: important signed papers

47. Debt: you owe someone money

48. Stamp Act: taxes on all papers, newspapers, etc.

49. Gradually: step by step

50. Minutemen: a group of armed men who fought in the Revolutionary War.

51. Loyalists: colonists who were still loyal to England and the King

52. Patriots: colonists who were opposed to England and the King

53. Support: help or aid

54. Declaration of Independence: letter written by Thomas Jefferson and sent to King George saying that America is now independent.

55. Liberty: freedom

56. Grievances: complaints

57. Deny: refuse

58 Surrender: Give up
