1. ambassador: someone a president chooses to represent the country
2. article: one of the parts of the Constitution
3. Congress: Legislative Branch, Senate and House of Representatives
4. Preamble: introduction part of Constitution
5. amendment: a change or addition to the Constitution (27)
6. convention: a meeting
7. majority: more than half
8. prohibition: 21st amendment that made alcohol illegal
9. assemble: to come together as a group
10. express: to show your thoughts and feelings
11. militia: organized group of regular people who serve as soldiers when needed
12. opinion: a belief
13. civil: has to do with people (civilians)
14. convict: to find guilty of a crime
15. due process: right to a fair trial in court
16. evidence: proof used for a crime
17. grand jury: group of people who decide if a person is guilty or not
18. indict (indite): accuse or charge a person for crime
19. witness: someone who has seen or heard something
20. candidate: person who hopes to be elected
21. debate: argument discussion
22. sue: bring legal action against a person
