Week of May 11 – 15
Good Morning!
Assignments are up on Google Classroom and we are ready to start our week. Our schedule and assignments are staying the same again this week. The slideshow is back to normal. Please look at and read all directions carefully! Please make sure work is complete before clicking “turn in”
Please keep up on work throughout the week so assignments do not pile up. Due dates are staggered throughout the week to help with completing a few assignments each day.

If you did not make it to pick up Math books, whiteboards, dry erase markers, and paper last week and would like these items, please let me know.

- Reading Group Meetings – Please be on time!
- Reading Letter due Wednesday.
- 2 Readworks + 1 Newsela article due Friday.
- Reading 30 minutes or more everyday.

Good Morning!
Assignments are up on Google Classroom and we are ready to start our week. My goal is to keep our schedule and assignments consistent week to week so students can plan and know what to expect. One of the Spelling & Word Work activities have been removed and the slideshow is a little different this week due to the contractions spelling rule. Please look at those directions carefully!
Please keep up on work throughout the week so assignments do not pile up. I have staggered due dates throughout the week to help with completing a few things each day.
Materials pick up!
To make the Eureka Math a little easier, materials are available for pick up. This includes Math books, whiteboards, dry erase markers, and paper. Distribution: Tuesday, May 5th 12:00-3:00 pm at Whimore-Bolles. (This does NOT include personal belongings, stay tuned for a later date)

Math: Continuing with Eureka Math curriculum in addition to Zearn. Lessons 5 – 8 Monday thru Thursday with an Exit Ticket on Friday. 3 Zearn lessons or complete through lesson 24.
Exit tickets are expected to be done independently without parent help so I know what students have learned and who I need to work with to provide extra math support.
Writing: Response to prompt due Wednesday.
Reading: Check schedule for day and time of Reading Group Meeting. Please arrive on time ready to discuss last week’s assignment. Reading Letter due Wednesday. 2 Readworks + 1 Newsela article due Friday. Students should be reading 30 minutes or more everyday.

April 27 – May 1
Good Morning!
We are ready to start a new week. Assignments are up on Google Classroom and our schedule is set.
A couple of changes this week:
Class Meetings
Class Meetings will no longer be held through Google Meets. We will now be using a platform called Big Blue Button. I have replaced all of the directions and links in Google Classroom to direct students to Class Meetings and Reading Group Meetings in Big Blue Button. Please have your 4th grader try this out before a their next scheduled meeting to allow time for any troubleshooting.
Math
This week we will be returning to using our Eureka Math curriculum in addition to Zearn. I will be posting lessons 4 days a week, Monday thru Thursday. This will include recorded lessons taught by 4th grade Eureka Math teachers and Problem Set guidance from me. Students will be assigned problems to complete on paper. Students will take a picture of their work and submit it in the assignment.
On Fridays I will post an Exit ticket similar to what students are used to in class. Exit tickets are expected to be done independently without parent help so I know what students have learned and who I need to work with to provide extra math support.
