Next week’s spelling list is ready. This list will require a little extra studying since we are doing homophones. The list of words will be jumbled during the test on Friday, so students need to know each word by its definition!

Hi Parents!!!
Representatives from the YMCA Camp will be here to give a presentation, and answer any pre-camp questions on Tuesday October 10th at 5:30 in the auditorium.
Please come ready to listen to our visitors, and ask any questions that come to mind. It may be helpful to create a list of questions ahead of time.

Students wrote a letter home to you in class on Friday. Their homework this weekend was to show it to you, ask you to sign it, and return it to class today. If you haven’t seen this letter yet, please ask your 5th grader. I hope to see them all by tomorrow! Here are the directions for the letter:

Conference sign up started at Open House. Each conference has a 20 minute time slot. Here are the remaining available times are below. Please let me know which time is best for you.

Camp permission slips, remaining balances, packing slips and medical forms have all gone home. Please return all forms and funding as soon as possible.
Band is here! Students listened to an information session last week and went home with permission slips. Please return by tomorrow, class starts next week.

Hello Room 214 Families!
Today students went home with their first homework assignment, it is due tomorrow. We are starting out on the easier side and will work our way up from here. Nightly homework 1
The first spelling list went home today as well. The spelling test will be on Friday. spelling week 1
Please send in any papers from last week you still have at home. I will be posting a list tomorrow of missing papers tomorrow, if you need extra copies of any, please check in the office.
Camp information went home with students today. This includes dates, balances due, and chaperone information.
