Students will finish the study of the War of 1812 and begin discussions on the

American sense of self-reliance and the beginnings of the early Industrial Revolution.

Classes will take a quiz on Wednesday, Dec. 18 covering: Major battles of the War of 1812, main characters, opposition to the war, the Treaty of Ghent, and section (1) of Chapter11. An extra credit worksheet will be offered for students to complete during the winter recess.
