CALLING ALL BAKERS!
It’s that time of year again!!!
The Lindbergh Holiday Boutique and Bake Sale is November 12th.
Our sale last year was a tremendous success thanks to all the wonderful families that
donated their time, energy and delicious baked goods and candy.
We need your help again this year:
Donate your Cakes, Cookies, Rice Krispie Treats!
Donate Quick Breads, Pies, Cupcakes, Brownies!
Donate Gluten Free Goodies, Candy -Fudge, pretzels!
Have a favorite baked good or candy? Please donate it!!!!
Not a baker or candy maker? No problem!
Store bought and bakery goods are welcome too.
We would also be happy to have donations of clear basket wrap, clear cellophane treat bas and colorful ribbon too. Once again, we are offering incentives to the classes that donates the most baked goods by Friday, November 11, 2016:
First Prize: Ice Cream Sandwich party
Second Runner Up: Doughnuts for the class.
With your help we can make it another RECORD BREAKING YEAR!

Holiday Boutique Basket!!!!

We are still collecting donations for the class holiday boutique raffle basket!! If you haven’t had a chance to send in your donation there is still time!! Please send your donations to school or give them to Mrs. Fradkin as soon as possible so she can start shopping for our basket!!!

Haunted school is tonight from 6:30 – 8:30. Have a spooky good time!!!

Students have graded social studies test score sheets with them today. The grade I have written on the sheet is the final score on the test including the constructed response questions.

Halloween Celebration News!!

Our class Halloween Party will be Monday after lunch. Students will be making vampire donuts, designing their own mask, play a few games, kids will pass out candy, and watch Charlie Brown. If you would like to donate any items please let me know. Here are a few items we still need.

20 medium size white bags (with handle) for kids to put candy in
Halloween foamies/stickers/anything else for decorating
Halloween prizes for game (any)
20 mini pumpkins
Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin Movie (to watch)

Social Studies Test

The date for the Social Studies District Common Assessment has been changed to Oct. 27th. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The study guides were given to students today. They were directed to bring them and any social studies materials they needed home with them.

PTA Reflections

2016-17 Reflections Theme:
“What Is Your Story?”

The PTA believes all children deserve a quality arts education and encourages students to pursue artistic expression through participation in its annual Reflections Program. The program offers students in pre-school through grade 12 the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. It celebrates the many skills of our students and encourages them to pursue artistic expression in a number of different ways including
Film/Video Production, Dance Choreography, Musical Composition, Photography, Visual Arts and Literature.

Entry forms and guidelines will be available in the school office and also on the landings of both the north and south stairwells in the school; they are also available via e-mail.
