Students then analyzed an article of a photo of a homeless child doing his homework late at night outside a McDonald’s. Students played piccionario with current vocabulary and then began reading a brief article with ten of the most spectacular places in Patagonia in preparation of a video that documents students’ lengthy journey to school in Patagonia.

This past week in Spanish 2, students began the week with new 9.2 vocabulary and finished their partner project. On Tuesday, students practiced their vocabulary through circunloquios or brief definitions in Spanish, playing a game Wednesday with their circunloquios called Palabra secreta. Students listened to the song Bailando and learned about the grammatical tense in that song called the present progressive. Students then practiced that tense in the context of learning about Quinceañeras on Thursday.
